what do you think of German food? My experiences is that it is often dreadful. The simple things like frankfurter and potato salad are great but when they try to do something classier, it can be awful – very like 1970s school dinners.
The food has been OK but then I’m hungry and not a very demanding eater. Particularly love the bread and the herrings were really very tasty.
